Participate in an inter-active discussion on the needs of older adults, reasons they are one of the fastest growing demographic groups facing housing insecurity in recent years, and what resources are available to help address health and safety issues that can lead to housing insecurity or homelessness. Emerging strategies are being tested through a pilot in Oakland County that will be discussed at the workshop. The initiative will create stronger collaborations between housing and health systems of care for unstably housed older adults who frequently access healthcare services through data integration and enhanced communication.
