China Aquino, MPH is a Senior Program Manager at MCEDSV with over a decade of experience managing federal and state-funded programs. China began her career as a coordinator of nutrition programs including the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the CACFP Afterschool Snack and Supper Program. Prior to joining MCEDSV, she worked within housing systems where she managed a program addressing veteran homelessness in six Michigan counties. In her current role at MCEDSV, she supports systems change efforts through training, technical assistance, community organizing, and advocacy.

China holds a BS in Health Sciences with a Concentration in Nutrition and a Master of Public Health degree, both of which are from Oakland University. She is passionate about creating long-lasting social change for survivors and continues to advocate for social justice and equity within food and housing systems.
