Nicki Basch is an enrolled member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. She has worked for the Grand Traverse Band since 2005 in various positions in the Housing Department, Lender Liaison, CDFI start up grant Director, Tribal Business Resource Center Director and as the Housing Director/Development Manager and for the past 13 years. She has received the first fully Tribal LIHTC project in Michigan and has received her second LIHTC project as well. She has also received competitive IHBG grants for these projects and is currently working on a PSH project as her next development. Nicki received her bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University and is a Governor-appointed member of the Michigan Statewide Housing Partnership and on the Affordable Housing Advisory Council for the Federal Home Loan Bank in Indianapolis.
