This presentation highlights case studies of how tribal communities are addressing homelessness or housing instability with Permanent Supportive Housing to provide relative-centered, trauma-informed housing and supportive services.  Additionally, this session will also discuss how homelessness may look different from Native American communities, both tribal and non-tribal, than what is commonly believed. Learn how the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan are addressing homelessness or housing instability, with supportive housing.
