Krysta Pate, a native Detroiter, is the Founder and CEO of The Ownership Initiative, a mission-based advisory firm focused on creating impact with strategies that help move millions into underserved communities across America. To date, her firm is responsible for helping move over $200 million of capital into homeownership and small business empowerment initiatives across six states.

Krysta possesses an expert level understanding of the regulatory framework and policy issues that urban communities face. She served two terms as Vice Chair of the Michigan State Land Bank Authority and is the recipient of two awards from Crain’s Business Detroit. She is well respected nationally and has an extensive circle of influence that includes working relationships with senior leadership and executives from the public and private sector.
