Engaging with a diverse range of residents, stakeholders, non-profit organizations, and local officials, Briana Mason has been working to improve people's quality of life for nearly a decade. She currently serves as a Senior Program Manager at Rocket Community Fund where she provides over $2 million in grantmaking in Michigan and Ohio to foster systemic change in housing stability. In her former role as a Senior Program Officer for Enterprise Community Partners’ Detroit Market, she helped to launch the Elevating CDO Fund Program, a $4 million program tailored to local community development organizations in Detroit. Briana obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Howard University in Washington, DC, and received her Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University. Before Rocket and Enterprise, Briana served as an Urban Planner for the City of Detroit where she worked with neighborhoods on Detroit's West Side. She has a passion for creating beautiful and inclusive cities and truly feels that there is no other path as rewarding as this one.
