Mark Contreras is a board-certified nurse practitioner and the Chief Medical Officer at Catherine’s Health Center. In this role, he leads clinical strategy with a focus on expanding access and improving outcomes for individuals experiencing homelessness. A strong advocate for cross-sector collaboration, Mark brings extensive experience in designing low-barrier healthcare delivery models that address the complex and multifaceted needs of vulnerable populations. He has also led several innovative initiatives, including the implementation of his community’s first comprehensive street medicine team.
