Susie Sapilewski is the Director of Asset Management in the Detroit, Michigan office. In this role, she oversees a team of 44 staff and is responsible for oversight of roughly 2600 Multifamily subsidized and market rate properties in Michigan and Ohio. During her tenure at HUD Susie has served in many roles, but her passion is truly Asset Management and servicing the needs of HUD’s clients. She has worked to develop a transformational office in Detroit which focuses on fair administration of HUD policies, preservation of subsidy and upholding physical inspection standards at HUD properties. Susie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University.
