Max Olive is an Equity Underwriter, assigned to Cinnaire’s Detroit, MI, office, evaluating and structuring real estate equity investments and assessing associated risks and mitigants. Starting as an Assistant Equity Underwriter, Max demonstrated an ability to articulate complex underwriting challenges and solutions. He was promoted to Senior Assistant Equity Underwriter then Equity Undewrwiter where he navigates complex and challenging project-level closings, working closely with peers and industry colleagues, and ensuring exceptional quality service with our partners. By embracing innovation, Max strives to create ventures that prosper and uplift communities, helping individuals forge a vibrant future. He previously served as a Senior Capital Markets Associate for a national capital markets advisory firm, developing relationships with affordable housing developers and financing partners to execute business plans for Affordable Housing acquisition, rehabilitation and preservation. Prior to that, he was a Development Associate for a private developer concentrated in the Midwest and Southeast. In the position, he actively worked with government entities, financing partners, and third-party construction and design firms to acquire and rehabilitate projects centered on the preservation of affordable housing. Max graduated from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and an emphasis on Finance and Accounting.
