Vince Ebersoldt is an Architect and founder/president of both the architecture studios of ebersoldt + associates architecture and its development entity, e+a properties.
Located in St. Louis, Missouri, Vince has over 30 years of experience in providing creative solutions for housing with an emphasis on multi-family housing of all typologies including affordable housing, workforce housing, build to rent housing, the utilization of affordable housing tax credits, historic adaptive reuse, historic tax credit consulting, modular housing, urban infill housing, and green design.
Since 2007, Vince and e+a have been responsible for the design and/or renovation of nearly 50,000 multi-family units, of which a vast majority utilize affordable housing tax credits and/or state and federal historic tax credits throughout the continental United States. Vince’s strengths lie in his ability to understand the necessary balance between the creative aesthetic, the functional requirements of the program, financial modeling, and construction/logistics efficiencies that when addressed holistically and with balance combine to make good architecture.
With additional expertise in real estate development, Vince and his companies have developed over 325 units of market rate and affordable housing with their latest endeavor, the Juniper; a 12 unit fully modular workforce housing development located on Beaver Island in northern Lake Michigan utilizing a grant from MSHDA’s MI Neighborhood Program to address the permanent housing shortage on a remote island where every established convention of development / design / construction are tested.
