National Faith Homebuyers
Speaker Bio
Christopher B. Aldridge is Director of Strategic Planning for National Faith Homebuyers (NFH), where he advances a vision of a scalable, self-sustaining, market-driven housing platform that expands access to homeownership for low- and moderate-income (LMI) families. With more than 30 years of senior leadership experience across investment banking, insurance, and community development finance, he specializes in structuring strategies that align public, philanthropic, and private capital to deliver both social impact and financial performance.
At NFH, Mr. Aldridge leads the development of program-related income (PRI) models designed to reduce reliance on subsidies while increasing scale and durability. His work includes the City of Detroit Down Payment Assistance program, which has supported 794 families, and the expansion of a National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST) initiative that has enabled the acquisition, rehabilitation, and resale of more than 700 homes to LMI buyers.
His approach is grounded in strong alignment with public entity community development objectives and bank Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) priorities—helping financial institutions prudently expand LMI lending through lower-risk structures, improved loan performance, and measurable community impact at scale.
Mr. Aldridge holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Harvard College.
