Ethan Hollenberger has served as the Senior Advisor in the HUD Great Lakes Region since January 2026. A lifelong resident of Wisconsin, he lives in Jackson where he recently served as a citizen appointee the Zoning Board of Appeals and Public Works Board. Professionally, he served as a communications director and committee clerk in the Wisconsin State Senate, as the intergovernmental relations officer for Washington County, Wisconsin, where he lives, and most recently the Assistant County Executive in Winnebago County, Wisconsin, where he grew up. At Winnebago County, Ethan led county departments related to public works, natural resources conservation, a nursing home, housing policy, and Veterans Services. Through ARPA, the county secured a $10.3 million housing continuum grant. He is a member of ICMA and the National Association of County Administrators. Ethan is an avid Marquette University basketball fan.
