Description

Most Michigan municipalities are challenged to increase the local housing supply to meet the shelter needs of ever changing populations. It is a complex problem, but the fixes might be easier than you think. This session highlights changes to zoning codes, development review processes, and master plans that can put you on the right track. The Michigan Association of Planning (MAP) is developing a Zoning Reform Guidebook that will equip local leaders with tools to create a new regulatory framework for local housing success.
