Julie has had a wide-ranging planning career with more than seven years of experience working in communities across the country. Starting her career in Boston doing community development, she has worked as a municipal planner in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, and Royal Oak, Michigan, and is now a planner with Progressive AE. Julie is skilled at translating master plan policy objectives into actionable zoning ordinance language and understands the challenges and rewards of creating and implementing good zoning policy. She enjoys working with developers, city and county governments, and other stakeholders to tackle land use and transportation challenges in their communities.
