This session will overview the speaker's experiences with vocal health issues that arose while teaching in the classroom (including vocal cyst surgery), speech therapy as a singing teacher, and general ways to prevent vocal injury as a music educator. This session also includes participatory speaking voice warm-ups that are relevant for teachers and musicians from all performance areas and levels.
