Music classrooms are often where students relax the most, allowing their peers and teachers to get to know their true personality. This affords music educators a unique opportunity to recognize and respond to a swiftly growing menace in society: the sex trafficking of minors. In this session, attendees will learn to identify signs of trafficking, how to respond to concerns, and how the music teacher and classroom can play a vital role in combatting this epidemic.
