2023 Call for Speakers
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, APRIL 7, 11:59PM HST
Thank you to everyone who submitted a proposal by our original Call for Speakers deadline of March 31. We know that took determination and dedication. We heard from many people that they needed more time. And it's true that we allowed only four weeks whereas some Call for Speakers last six. So we are extending one more week. The Call for Speakers is open till Friday, April 7, midnight Hawaii time.
For track information and additional context, review the Call for Speakers Information Packet, then submit your final proposal information at the submission link below.
There are two ways to submit your proposal:
-
Submit an Individual Proposal to be considered as a speaker with others on a session curated by our National Steering Committee.
-
Submit a Group Proposal that meets our diversity of perspectives criteria to be considered for a conference session. Note: The group proposal will take significant time to organize and require you to connect with potential speakers in advance.
After gathering the information needed, expect to spend 30-60 minutes to complete the submission form. Choose the track that best fits your proposal. A confirmation with the details of your submission will be emailed to you upon completion. Incomplete proposals will not be considered. All proposals are due by Friday, April 7 at 11:59pm HST (Hawaii Standard Time).
We recommend you create a password during your submission. This will allow you to make edits to your proposal until the (extended) submission deadline of April 7. To log back into your account, click "Sign In" in the upper right corner of this page. You are not limited to one type of submission. Use your account to make edits and track additional submissions.
Questions about the online submissions should be directed to Maureen Savage at msavage@managedbyamr.com or at (734) 239-8017.
Other questions? Contact Andrea Ostergaard, Program Manager at andreao@mpactmobility.org or at 612-486-5616.
Your proposal is an indication that you are willing and able to be in Phoenix for the conference. Speakers can attend for free for the day they are speaking (session schedule will be available in July) or will need to pay the full rate to attend the entire conference. Hotel rates at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown are $249 plus tax per night until October 12 or until the block is full. Scholarships are available to community organizations and non-profits. Please plan accordingly.
Note: we do not have virtual speaker opportunities at this time, and speakers will be expected to participate in person.
Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to reviewing your proposal!
