Michael Braverman dedicated more than 30 years to serving the citizens of Baltimore.Most recently, he served as the Housing Commissioner from 2017 - 2020, where he led efforts to create both a comprehensive framework for equitable community development and an effective, integrated community development agency with the resources to implement it. He now consults nationally with practitioners, researchers and students, and other stakeholders, who share his urgency and optimism that change is necessary and possible, and his passion for designing and delivering data-driven approaches that are efficient, equitable, and impactful.
