Celena Green is an economic development strategist, entrepreneur, and Economic Recovery Corps Fellow working at the intersection of technology, community development, and the reuse of underutilized places. Through her fellowship with the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC), she works with Northwest Indiana communities to transform brownfields, vacant industrial properties, and other challenging sites into opportunities for business and community investment.

Her work focuses on helping small public-sector and community teams overcome the capacity barriers that often stall redevelopment. She develops technology-enabled tools, site inventories, and decision-making frameworks that make complex redevelopment projects more manageable with limited staff and resources.

Celena is also founder of FoundRE and ProsperWorks, where she explores technology, community investing, and shared ownership as tools for building local wealth. She is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) with experience spanning economic development, technology, entrepreneurship, real estate, and international development.
