Speaker Bio
Sally Stadelman has served with the Pittsburgh Land Bank since September 2022. In her first three years, Stadelman helped establish critical agreements with local taxing bodies and led the Land Bank from zero transactions to 131 completed property sales, providing land for projects ranging from permanent greenspace preservation to affordable housing development. She has stewarded more than 100 properties through City Council approvals and tax foreclosure processes, helping return long-abandoned properties to productive use. Stadelman launched the Residential Rehab Program, Pittsburgh’s adaptation of the Cuyahoga County Deed-In-Escrow Program, creating a pathway for owner-occupants to purchase, rehabilitate, and re-occupy long-vacant properties. Stadelman has worked for the City of Pittsburgh in various capacities since 2014, including roles with the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections, City Planning, and Public Safety, as well as service in prior mayoral administrations and as Chief of Staff to the District 1 City Council Office.
