Marcos Morales brings over 30 years of experience in affordable housing and community development. As Executive Director of Hogar Hispano, Inc. (HHI) since 2010, he has led initiatives that have enabled thousands of families across the United States and Puerto Rico to achieve homeownership and financial stability.

Under his leadership, HHI has implemented innovative programs supported by public and private capital, resulting in the acquisition and rehabilitation of over 2,500 properties through Hogar Community Reinvestment (HCR), LLC, and the preservation of homeownership for numerous families via Second Opportunity of America (SOA), LLC, and most recently established a fund to acquire bulk NFL's and REO nationally.

Marcos has also contributed to federal housing policy, collaborating with agencies across the country to establish a solid groundwork for FHA, FHFA and the U.S. Department of the Treasury to expand nonprofit participation in foreclosure mitigation and affordable housing programs. His prior roles at organizations like Chicanos Por La Causa, YES Housing, and UnidosUS have involved the development and management of over $600 million in real estate projects.

In addition to his role at HHI, Marcos serves as Co-founder and Vice President of the National Minority Community Reinvestment Cooperative's, board of directors, as part of his continued his commitment to expanding access to affordable housing and fostering community development nationwide.
