Sophie Beacom is an Economic Development Specialist at RIDC, where she supports regional economic development through data analysis, GIS mapping, and stakeholder engagement. Her work spans RIDC's broader portfolio, from working with tenants and regional partners to leading the Seedling Initiative, an early-stage effort to advance catalytic redevelopment projects across Southwestern Pennsylvania. She also serves as coordinator for the Greater Oakland Keystone Innovation Zone and on the Advisory Council for the SWPA Community Project Hub.
Sophie holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
