Jeff Huntington serves as the Operation Manager for the State Land Bank Authority. He has worked for the State Land Bank since 2005, providing administrative leadership and project management at the local, state, and federal level. He works to create a positive economic impact for Michigan communities by recycling land to product use.
Mr. Huntington has played a critical role in reducing blight across several communities statewide by administering over $84MM in demolition funding which has removed more than 3,000 vacant and abandoned residential, commercial, and industrial structures. He is working to build on that work by playing his part in the rebranding of Land Banks across the state. Land Bank 2.0 will focus on outreach, redevelopment, and creative reuse of property that will activate and provide a spark for communities to interact with the private sector.
Mr. Huntington serves on the Michigan Association of Land Banks Board as well as coaching youth soccer.
He was born and raised in Michigan and is a graduate of Central Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration as well as a Master of Business Administration. He lives in Eaton Rapids with his wife and three sons.
