Mike Vecchio is currently pursuing a PhD in Music Education at the University of Michigan where he is a Graduate Student Instructor for various courses in the music education program. He is the assistant conductor of the Michigan Youth Symphonic Band and was previously the co-conductor of the University of Michigan Alumni Band Association Concert Band. Vecchio also teaches applied brass lessons at Adrian College. He taught elementary and middle school band in New York and Illinois. Vecchio previously attended the University of Michigan where he earned master's degrees in Music Education and Euphonium Performance. He earned his bachelor's degree in Music Education and Euphonium Performance from Ithaca College.
