Shavel Edwards is a graduate of Syracuse University, and served as a local Volunteer Coordinator for United Way for over five years prior to coming to the Land Bank. She has a strong sense of community helping to coordinate such projects as the Annual MLK Day of Service and serves as a member of Mother's Against Gun Violence. Shavel's dedication and work has been recognized by the Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of CNY, NAACP and YWCA.
