David Haas grew up in the Eastwood neighborhood and loves to promote and work to improve his city. His primary outlet for doing this is @SyracuseHistory, which has over 50,000 followers. By day, he is the Executive Director of Sarah's Guest House, a healthcare hospitality home. He is a three-time winner of the Best Use of Social Media by an Individual award from the Syracuse Press Club (2018, 2019, 2020), won the Excellence Award from the Preservation League of New York State in 2021, and now writes a bi-weekly column for our local paper, The Post-Standard.
