Wayne Hofmann is Client Funding Director at Wade Trim, where he helps public-sector and utility clients target, pursue, and secure funding for critical infrastructure and community development investments. In this role, he leads Wade Trim’s FundingScout approach, monitoring emerging and established programs and aligning them with client capital priorities, while collaborating with technical teams to shape funding strategies. He leads the development of competitive grant/loan applications and supports the communications needed for successful submissions.
With 20 years of experience spanning civil infrastructure and construction management and project development, Wayne brings a practical understanding of how federal, state, local, and private funding sources can be leveraged to move projects from concept to implementation. His perspective includes navigating governmental programs as well as incorporating tools such as philanthropic support, tax credits, and financing mechanisms as appropriate to project needs.
