Technology and social media have made composers more accessible than ever. Students of all ability levels and directors running programs of all sizes can easily be in direct contact with composers writing new music. This session will address details of consortium commissioning, crowd-funding, skype rehearsals, composer residencies, and other collaborative options to benefit our students and the communities that we serve.
