Description
In this session, teachers will learn how to build spaces of inclusion when choosing literature for their music rooms. As educators, it is our responsibility to create mirrors, windows, and sliding doors as a way for our students to see themselves in literature. Come ready to read, sing, and play along with books and stories told from authors and illustrators who like many of our students, are underrepresented.
