Description
Teaching advanced musical concepts for upper elementary and middle schoolers is tricky. Engaging this fun age group with meaningful learning can be difficult but not impossible. In this session, general music and ensemble teachers alike will learn how to engage and tap into prior knowledge by providing age-appropriate music that appeals to them through games, social learning, and challenges, reaching all types of learners.
