When students can sing with:
• engagement, focus and intensity
• understanding of the historical and social contexts of a song
• understanding of the connection between the text and the music of a song
the result is expressive singers who are able to communicate personal connections to the music they perform. This session will share rehearsal strategies, ideas and activities that lead to more skillful, inspired and thoughtful singing.

REWARD: Students who might enjoy rehearsals even more than performances (and very happy choir directors!).
