Caring for Yourself and Your Classroom
Friday, January 29, 2021
7:00 PM - 7:45 PM
Description
We know that music is a great healer but do we allow ourselves to experience it in that way? In this session we will explore and discuss ways teachers can practice self-care and preservation and why it is essential. We will also delve into some alternative modalities that can be used to promote wellness in ourselves and in our students. With the increasing stressors of our modern-day life causing turmoil, it is imperative we as educators consider the state of our students in a holistic manner.
