Quincy Stewart presently teaches Concert Band, Combo Band, Choir and Music Appreiciation at Harper Woods Middle School. As a professional musician Quincy has opened for Spiro Gyra, Issaic Hayes, The Isley Brothers, The Thad Jones/ Count Basie Orchestra, Billy Cobham, Najee, Larry Carlton and many more. He has two albums to his credit and peforms regularly. Quincy's unique teaching method has been featured nationally on PBS's American Black Journal. Quincy has taught throughout the Detroit area and in Pontiac, his hometown.
