Steven Fernández is a music educator and bassist, who is passionate about beginning instruction! He holds a degree in Music Education with both choral and instrumental music from Western Michigan University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and is a candidate for the Master of Music Education degree from the University of Michigan. Steven is a registered teacher with the Suzuki Association of the Americas. He has taught for seven years at MASTA Strings Camp, and is in his fifth year of public school teaching. Following decades of community effort, Steven is honored to serve as Brighton’s first orchestra teacher.
