Steven Fernández is a music educator and bassist, who is passionate about beginning instruction! He holds a degree in Music Education with both choral and instrumental music from Western Michigan University, and a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Michigan. Steven has completed two units of Suzuki training, and maintains an active private studio. He has taught for eleven years at MASTA Strings Camp, and is in his ninth year of public school teaching. Following decades of community effort, Steven is honored to serve as Brighton’s first orchestra teacher.
