Whitney Mayo is a Ph.D. student in music education at Michigan State University. She taught early childhood and elementary music for 6 years on Ft. Hood, TX and continues to teach early childhood music in Michigan. Her research interests include early childhood music, rural music education, student voice, and music teaching practice.
