Lisa M. Gruenhagen is Associate Professor of Music Education and Area Coordinator for General Music at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. She directs community music outreach programs for early childhood through adulthood learners and is a consultant for research and program evaluation for Toledo Opera’s An Opera is a Story (AOIAS) Arts Residency Program. Her research is published in JRME, RSME, Advances in Music Education Research, & MEJ and focuses on professional development, teacher research, and fostering musical creativity through reflective practices. She holds a Master of Music and a PhD from the Eastman School of Music.
