I have been a high school & middle school band director for 22 years. For the past 13 yeas, I have been the band director at Portage West Middle School. I teach 6, 7 & 8th grade band and 8th grade orchestra. I also direct a 70 member extracurricular jazz band. Prior to teacher at West Middle School, I was the band director at Vicksburg High School. I taught two concert band, two jazz band and marching band. I currently have 300 students in the West Middle School band program. My middle school groups have performed in Mackinac Island & Chicago. My high school bands performed in Orlando, Hawaii and England.
