Michele received her Bachelor's of Music Education degree from Western Michigan University in 1993 and her Master's of Music Education degree from VanderCook College of Music in 1999. She began her teaching career in the Fall of 1993 at Ionia Public Schools and moved to Gull Lake Community Schools in the Fall of 1998 where she continues to teach today. She has taught general music, beginning band, jazz band, middle and high school band with her passion being with the beginning and middle level groups.
